Emphasizing the Importance of Supporting National Competencies and Promoting Innovation in the Field of Cybersecurity 
Kuwait University Hosts the Closing Ceremony of “Kuwait Hackathon 2024” Cybersecurity Competition

Under the patronage and attendance of His Excellency Senior Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Defense and Minister of Interior, Sheikh Fahad Yousef Saud Al-Sabah, and His Excellency Minister of State for Communications Affairs, Mr. Omar Saud Abdulaziz Al-Omar, Kuwait University hosted the closing ceremony of “Kuwait Hackathon 2024” competition on Saturday, November 30, which was organized by the National Center for Cybersecurity in cooperation with “Coded” Company, in the presence of Acting President of Kuwait University, Prof. Osama Al-Saeed. The ceremony was also attended by a group of prominent figures and specialists in the field of cybersecurity. 
This event aims to highlight the efforts of Kuwaiti youth in developing innovative solutions in the field of cybersecurity, emphasizing the importance of supporting national competencies and promoting innovation in this vital sector. 
Kuwait University, represented by Acting President of Kuwait University, Prof. Osama Al-Saeed, was honored, thanking Kuwait University for its hospitality.
