
In a step that reflects Kuwait University’s ongoing commitment to academic excellence, Prof. Dina Musaed Al-Mailem, President of Kuwait University, welcomed the academic accreditation team from the University of Florida, the University of Rhode Island, and Qassim University. The team’s visit aimed to evaluate the College of Business Administration, with the presence of Acting Secretary-General of Kuwait University Dr. Bader Ahmed Al-Jasser Al-Rajhi, Acting Dean of the College of Business Administration Dr. Awaad Al-Dhafiri, and university leadership at Sabah Al-Salem University City.
On this occasion, Prof. Dina Al-Mailem welcomed the visiting delegation, expressing appreciation for all efforts dedicated to advancing education in Kuwait. She affirmed Kuwait University’s readiness to coordinate, meet all necessary requirements, and facilitate all procedures, highlighting the significance of academic accreditation as a framework that ensures the soundness and performance of educational institutions. She emphasized the university’s commitment to academic governance and institutional performance oversight, enabling all colleges to fulfill their missions and attain full accreditation.
For his part, Dr. Awaad Al-Dhafiri, Acting Dean of the College of Business Administration, stated that the purpose of this visit is to verify that the accreditation process is proceeding in line with recognized international standards. He noted that the team reviewed recommendations and insights on ways to enhance academic quality, in preparation for the college to renew its academic accreditation for another five years. He stressed the importance of accreditation in achieving global standards of academic quality.
This initiative is part of Kuwait University’s ongoing efforts to develop its academic programs and strengthen partnerships with prestigious educational institutions worldwide.
