Within the Framework of Enhancing the Role of the University with Local and International Institutions 
Kuwait University Signs a Memorandum of Understanding with Kuwait Foundation for the Advancement of Sciences (KFAS) to Enhance the Role of Scientific Research and Cooperation between the Two Parties 
Prof. Al-Saeed: Kuwait University is Distinguished by its Effective Role in Providing Scientific Cadres in all State Institutions. 
Dr. Al-Farhan: Kuwait University has an Important Role in Providing Capabilities, Outputs and Distinguished Research that Contributed to the Process of Development and Prosperity in the State.

Kuwait University signed a memorandum of understanding with Kuwait Foundation for the Advancement of Sciences (KFAS) in the presence of Acting President of Kuwait University, Prof. Osama Al-Saeed, and Director General of Kuwait Foundation for the Advancement of Sciences (KFAS), Dr. Amina Rajab Farhan. Attending on Kuwait Foundation for the Advancement of Sciences (KFAS) side were the Advisor for the Department of Research and Technology, Prof. Ali Bu Majdad, and the Director of the Research Capacity Building Department, Dr. Abrar Al-Mousa. Attending on Kuwait University side were Acting Vice President for Medical Sciences, Prof. Noura Ahmed Al-Suwaih, and Acting Vice President for Research, Prof. Mai Marzouq Al-Bader, Acting Vice President for Academic Affairs Dr. Fahad Mohammed Al-Fadhli, Acting Assistant Secretary for Facilities Management Affairs Mr. Mohammed Al-Sulaiman, and Director of Public Relations and Media Ms. Anoud Al-Rashidi. 
In this regard, Acting President of Kuwait University, Prof. Osama Al-Saeed, stated that Kuwait University is distinguished by its effective role in providing scientific cadres in all state institutions, which essentially contributes to development plans, stressing the role of Kuwait Foundation for the Advancement of Sciences (KFAS) in supporting development programs that aim to qualify university members from academic and supporting academic staff, researchers and students in all areas of research cooperation, thanking Kuwait Foundation for the Advancement of Sciences (KFAS) for the continued cooperation, which was and still is a reason for the progress and prosperity for all state institutions. 
In turn, the Director General of Kuwait Foundation for the Advancement of Sciences (KFAS), Dr. Amina Rajab Farhan stressed the importance of the role of Kuwait University in providing distinguished capabilities, outputs and research that contributed to the process of development and prosperity among local and international institutions, pointing to the launch of the first Kuwaiti satellite "Kuwait Sat 1" originating from Kuwait University and supported by Kuwait Foundation for the Advancement of Sciences (KFAS), which makes it the greatest achievement on local and regional levels, expressing her happiness with the continued cooperation between Kuwait Foundation for the Advancement of Sciences (KFAS) and Kuwait University, which results in the development and prosperity Kuwait.
