The Kuwait University Robotics Team from the College of Science won the Best Build Award at VEX Robotics World Championship

The Kuwait University Robotics Team from the College of Science, Department of Computer Science, under the supervision of Dr. Noura Al-Jeri, won the Best Build Award in the VEX Robotics Competition held in Dallas, Texas, USA.

The Build Award is presented to well-crafted robots that have been designed with a high degree of attention to detail to withstand the challenges of competition.

The key criteria for the award are as follows:

Robot construction is robust

Robot demonstrates reliability on the field and holds up under competition conditions

Robot is designed with a clear dedication to safety and attention to detail

Students understand and explain how they worked together to develop their robot

The team demonstrates effective communication skills, teamwork, professionalism, and student spirit.

The Kuwait University team is considered the first university team in the Middle East and the Arab world to win an award from the International Robotics Competition.
