Kuwait University is preparing for the inauguration ceremony of Sabah Al-Salem University City

The acting Secretary General of Kuwait University and the official spokesman for the university, Prof.Fayez Al-Dhafiri, stated that Kuwait University is preparing to hold the inauguration ceremony of Sabah Al-Salem University City and the graduation of Kuwaiti honor students in all colleges from the forty-ninth, fiftieth, and fifty-first batches for the academic years (2018/2019 - 2019/2020 - 2020/2021), under the patronage and presence of His Highness The Emir, Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, which will be held on Monday, 13/5/2024, at 10 am at the Al-Dana Theater in Sabah Al-Salem University City.

Al-Dhafiri confirmed during the first rehearsal for the graduates’ ceremony, which was held on Monday evening, that the university, the Supreme Committee for Celebrations with its members and subcommittees, the organizational committee, the discipline committee, the reception committee, and the committee for deducing the outstanding students had completed all preparations for the ceremony, as the concerned departments carried out their role in preparation of the upcoming ceremony. He explained how the committees were formed to ensure the success of the ceremony.

Graduate Mohsen Ali Hussein Ashkanani from the College of Education with a grade point average of 3.98, majoring in Social Studies - Philosophy, expressed his happiness with this honor and his feeling of pride. He also thanked everyone who supervised this ceremony, starting with His Highness the Emir. Salem Mutlaq Al-Hatlani from the College of Education with a grade point average of 3.70, Department of Psychology, thanked all those in charge of the university for the elegant ceremony and for the chance to create a memory with His Highness the Emir, which he will remember for the rest of his life.

In addition to graduate Asmaa Awaida Al-Sanea from the College of Sharia and Islamic Studies with a grade point average of 3.99, also stated that her dream of graduating as an honor student has come true. She thanked those in charge of the ceremony, which reflects the advancement of Kuwait University. Graduate Jihan Malallah from the College of Social Science with a grade of 3.87 said that the wait for this ceremony bore fruit with tremendous efforts in a manner befitting the university, expressing her happiness with the opportunity to meet the Emir.
