Acting President of Kuwait University received the Ambassador of the Republic of Bulgaria
Acting President of Kuwait University, Prof. Meshari Al-Harbi, received the Ambassador of the Republic of Bulgaria Dimitar Dimitrov on Tuesday, November 7, 2023, at the office of the President of Kuwait University in Sabah Al-Salem University City, with the aim of strengthening cultural and academic relations.
The Acting President of Kuwait University Prof. Meshari Al-Harbi welcomed the Ambassador of the Republic of Bulgaria at Kuwait University, emphasizing Kuwait University’s keenness on sharing culture and experience between universities and educational institutions in the world and maintaining cultural communication with them.
Prof. Al-Harbi highlighted the readiness of Kuwait University to provide services and academic cooperation with the Embassy of the Republic of Bulgaria and discussed agreements between Kuwait University and a university in Sofia, which has had an Arabic language department for 45 years, in addition to research cooperation and student exchange between the two countries.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the Ambassador of the Republic of Bulgaria, Dimitar Dimitrov, thanked the Acting President of Kuwait University, Prof. Meshari Al-Harbi, for hosting him at Kuwait University. He thanked the university administration for their proposals and presented a memorandum of understanding to expand research cooperation.
