In cooperation with the Advancement of Science Publishing, one of the centers of the Kuwait Foundation for the Advancement of Sciences (KFAS), Kuwait University students participated in the “Astrolab - Kuwait Sky” trip in the Salmi desert, which took place on June 9 and 10, 2023.
The Acting Dean of Student Affairs, Dr. Dhari Al-Huwail, stated that the participation of Kuwait University students in such an educational and enjoyable trip, which is the first of its kind, enriches their cultural and scientific knowledge about astronomy, climatology and meteorology. He added that this participation contributes to strengthening effective community partnership between all agencies and sectors. Dr. Al-Huwail praised the supporting role of KFAS and is looking forward to more cooperation in organizing student activities.
