The 9th Annual Admission Exhibition "Your Choice Builds a Nation" Concluded its Activities

The 9th annual Admission Exhibition “Your choice Builds a Nation” concluded its activities. The exhibition was attended by a large number of visitors, including high school students and parents. The exhibition was organized by the Deanship of Admission and Registration during the period from 2-4 May 2023 at the Cultural Center in Sabah Al-Salem University City, in cooperation with the General Secretariat of Kuwait University, the Administration of Public Relations and Media, and the National Union of Kuwait University Students.
The exhibition witnessed a remarkable turnout by high school students wishing to learn about public and private higher education institutions. A total of 27 schools visited the exhibition on its first day, 25 on the second day, and 29 schools on the third and final day. The last day of the exhibition also included an evening period which allowed parents and more students to visit the exhibition.
The Acting Dean of Admissions and Registration, Dr. Rawa Al-Jarallah, expressed her happiness at the impressive turnout by students from public and private schools, parents and the Kuwaiti society in general. She added that organizing this event comes in line with the development plan for the New Kuwait Vision for the year 2035.
The exhibition also includes workshops and field tours. The visiting students were able to visit and tour some of the colleges on campus and get information on the multiple events and activities held by the colleges.
The participants of the event included 11 different private higher education institutions including the American University in Kuwait, the Gulf University for Science and Technology, Algonquin College Kuwait, the American International University, the College of Technology and Aviation, Box Hill College, the Arab Open University, the International University in Kuwait, the Kuwait College of Law, and Kuwait Technical College. Government participations included Kuwait University, Abdullah Al-Salem University, the Ministry of Higher Education (scholarships), the Public Authority for Applied Education and Training, the Ministry of Interior, the National Guard, the General Fire Force, the Higher Institute for Dramatic Arts, and the Higher Institute for Musical Arts, and 4 institutions that support science and youth, which are the Office of Social Development, the Anti-Corruption Authority, LOYAC, and the Civil Service Commission.
