The Department of Chemistry at the Faculty of Science recently achieved a pioneering scientific achievement in the field of scientific research where John Wiley, the largest specialized publishing house in the world, published a book by Dr. Nuria Al-Awadi, Professor at the Department, entitled "Gas-Phase Pyrolytic Reactions Synthesis, Mechanisms, and Kinetics". The book preparation process is based on an invitation the Professor received from the John Wiley Publishing Foundation in light of her extensive scientific experience in this field.
The book is in almost 300 pages distributed over 7 chapters that clearly and systematically cover everything related to the field of pyrolysis reactions in terms of their use in preparing many chemicals with biological applications in an effective way that distinguishes them from traditional and customary methods of preparation.
As well as the mechanism and mechanics of these interactions, and Prof. Nuria's experience helped in addressing the gaps that have emerged in this important field in chemistry and the book is considered a solid reference for beginners and researchers specialized in this field.
