The National Communication Association of the United States of America has awarded the best year book for Dr. Haneen Shafiq Al-Ghabra a Faculty member in the mass communication department at the College of Arts at Kuwait University for her book "Muslim Women and White Femininity: Simulation and Resistance".
Dr. Haneen Shafiq Al-Ghabra's book deals with issues related to white racism against Muslim women in the light of the Western media.
Dr. Haneen Al-Ghabra has been awarded several awards from prestigious scientific institutions for her distinguished research efforts in particular about women in general and Muslim women in particular.
