The Faculty of Dentistry at Kuwait University organized the event of the International Oral and Dental Health Day under the patronage of the University's President, Prof. Hussein Al-Ansari and the Dean of the College, Dr. Adel Al-Asfour, in the lobby of the Faculty of Medicine at Al-Jabriya Medical Center.

The Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry Dr. Adel Al-Asfour said that this event, which is being held for the first time in Kuwait, comes in coordination with the World Dental Federation (FDI) on the occasion of World Oral Health Day to raise awareness of the importance of oral and dental health and its role in the maintenance of public health. , And locally promoted by national dental associations in more than 140 countries around the world. Noting that the campaign focused on smart ways to maintain health Mouth protection throughout the life of the person, to spread the message that preventive care is always the best option to ensure the health of the mouth and teeth

At the end of his statement, Dr. Al-Asfour thanked the organizers of the event, Dr. Jagan Pascrados, Dr. Iman Behbehani and the head of Preventive Medicine Department Dr. Maawiya Qdemat.
The event witnessed educational activities organized by the students of the college, which included free dental examinations, distribution of oral hygiene tools, brochures, booklets and visual materials on the protection and prevention of mouth and teeth.

In addition, the college hosted the students of Al Bayan Bilingual School, where they were received by the pediatric dentist Dr. Mona Al-Sanea with the students of the College, who have organized various educational and recreational activities for this age group.
