The College of Science Dean at Kuwait University Prof. AbdulHadi I. Bualian, Assistant Dean for Academic Affairs, Research and Graduate Studies Dr. Hussain AlAwadhi, and Head of Marine Science Department Dr. Fahad AlSanafi welcomed the visiting Professor from Marine Science Center at Northeastern University, USA, Dr. Brian Hallmuth.
During the visit, the study programs in the scientific department and the future graduate programs were evaluated, in addition to the strategy of the scientific department and the center of marine sciences as a vision for the coming ten years.
At the end of the visit, Dr. Helmuth presented a lecture entitled "Erosion: The Impacts of Climate Change in Coastal Ecosystems".
