Kuwait University participates in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) days event , which is organized by the General Secretariat of the Gulf Cooperation Council during the period from 5 to 11 November 2018. On the sidelines of the event, Kuwait University represented by the Department of Public Relations and Media held a coordination meeting with the General Secretariat of the Gulf Cooperation Council.
The meeting was chaired by Assistant Secretary General for Economic and Development Affairs Khalifa Al-Abri and attended by Director of Public Relations and Media Department at Kuwait University Diaa Abdulrahman Al-Fares along with members of the General Secretariat of the Gulf Cooperation Council.
The aim of the meeting was to discuss the timetable of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) days event , the coordination of the symposiums to be held at Kuwait University and to discuss the nature of the university's participation in the event.
KU participates in the activities of the days of the Gulf Cooperation Council through the establishment of seminars on campus, in cooperation with College of Social Sciences , college of Business Administration Sciences and College of Law.
KU will hold several seminars and workshops within the GCC days event:
-The workshop on international trade and creation of job opportunities will be held on Tuesday, November 6, 2018 at 9:30 AM, in Hall 3C Faculty of Buisness Administration - Shuwaikh Campus.
- Seminar on External Relations of the GCC on Tuesday 6 November 2018 at 10 AM, in the round room - Abdullah Al Jaber Theater - Shuwaikh Campus.
Entrepreneurship Workshop with similar experiences on Wednesday 7 November 2018 at 9:30 AM, at Othman Abdulmalik Hall - Shuwaikh Campus.
A lecture on GCC joint security work and the achievements of the interior ministries in the GCC countries on Wednesday, November 7, 2018 at 10:30 AM, in the round room - Abdullah Al Jaber Theater - Campus - Shuwaikh.
A workshop to introduce the GCC joint work decisions will be held on Thursday, November 8, 2018 at 9:30 AM in the round room - Abdullah Al Jaber Theater - Campus - Shuwaikh.
A lecture on the dissemination of intellectual property culture will be held on Thursday, November 8, 2018, at 10 AM, in Othman Abdulmalik Hall - Faculty of Law - Campus - Shuwaikh.
Security Event entitled "The march and achievements of the GCC joint military action" on Thursday, November 8, 2018 at 10:30 AM , at the World Bank Hall - Faculty of Social Sciences – Shuwaikh Campus.
