In a new scientific achievement in the field of psychiatry, Dr. Sulaiman Al-Khudhari, a psychiatrist and faculty member at the Faculty of Medicine at Kuwait University, participated in a Scientific research published in the Arab Journal of Psychiatry with a team of experts from Kuwait, headed by Prof. Ahmed Okasha, president of the World Union of Psychiatrists. The paper focused on reviewing the global rules in treating disorders by using the committees conducted in the Arab world, reviewing the global disorders, depression, schizophrenia and anxiety.
The team formed by the Arab countries concluded new recommendations and rules in line with the recommendations of the international community and other recommendations related to the Arab world that refer to:
* The need to develop psychological and social assessments that take into account the different cultural elements of the Arab world, such as religious matters and some social beliefs, as well as the lack of human resources and centers specialized in providing psychological services to patients, and taking this into account when planning treatment programs.
