Kuwait University has signed a memorandum of understanding with Kuwait Fire Service Directorate for a period of three years, during which the two sides will cooperate to serve the country, recognizing the importance of sustainable development in order to develop and support scientific, cultural and technical cooperation between the two sides for mutual benefit.
For his part, the President of Kuwait University, Dr. Hussein Al Ansari, thanked the General Directorate of Fire for hospitality and good reception. He praised the initiative to strengthen cooperation and strengthen communication between the two institutions. This was not new but extended over many years in various fields of safety and security. And the measures of prevention, pointing out that Kuwait University strives through its strategy and mission to meet the needs of the community and achieve its aspirations, by extending cooperation ties with various bodies in the State to achieve institutional integration, which is reflected positively on the pillars of development and achieve the vision of Kuwait future.
Prof. Al Ansari added that the signing of this memorandum is a lucrative opportunity for both parties as it aims to exchange experiences and strengthen relations in the academic and scientific fields, most importantly the training of students and employees of the university. which contributes to the preparation of graduates able to compete in the labor market have knowledge and skills practical as well as theoretical, academic by enriching the process of education.
For his part, the General of Kuwait Fire Service Directorate, General Khalid Rakan Al-Makrad, welcomed the President of Kuwait University Prof. Hussein Al Ansari and the attendees, describing this move as a qualitative leap. KU is one of the leading and prestigious universities that achieve the development goals in the fields of human resources, in line with the needs of the labor market and requirements of government agencies. The purpose of this protocol is to cooperate and benefit from the expertise of faculty members and researchers at the university and to support projects, forums and educational workshops between the two sides, organize and prepare reciprocal programs and visits for technical expertise, and support the development of scientific curricula and academic activities related to the needs of the labor market.
