Under the patronage of the Minister of Social Affairs and Labor and Minister of State for Economic Affairs Hind Sabih Al-Subeeh, the Center for Women's Studies and Research at the Faculty of Social Sciences, Kuwait University, in cooperation with the General Secretariat of the Supreme Council for Planning and Development, UNDP and UNWOMAN organized the graduation ceremony of the "Women Leaders" training program on the Shuwaikh campus.
Minister of Social Affairs and Labor and Minister of State for Economic Affairs Hind Sabih Al-Subeeh praised the spirit of national cooperation between the General Secretariat of the Supreme Council for Planning and Development, the United Nations Development Program, the Women's Research and Studies Center at the Faculty of Social Sciences at Kuwait University and the United Nations Commission for the Empowerment of Women and Gender Equality.
Al-Subeeh stressed that the program of preparing national leaders of women has contributed to highlight their role and highlight their experiences in forming and qualifying a new generation of women leaders who contribute positively to the development of the country and seek to make tangible progress and real successes despite the challenges imposed.
Al-Subeeh explained that Kuwaiti women have proved beyond doubt their leading role in the development process witnessed by the country in various fields.
