Under the patronage of the President of Kuwait University, Prof. Hussein Al-Ansari, the Department of Information Studies at the College of Social Sciences held a graduation ceremony for the Master of Information Studies at the Crown Plaza Hotel.
Prof. Hussein Al-Ansari, President of KU congratulated the students and expressed his pride of their outstanding scientific achievements in obtaining their Master's degree.

Prof. Hussein Al Ansari also congratulated Dr. Taghreed Al-Qudsi on her promotion to the rank of Professor and Dr. Nujoud Al-Mumin on her promotion to the rank of Assistant Professor, and also Dr. Reham Al-Issa, Dr. Hisham Al-Sarhan and Dr. Talal Al-Banai on winning the award for "bareeq al-ejabeya" application.
The Dean of College of Social Sciences Dr. Hmoud Al-Qashaan also expressed his pride in graduating the 21st batch, which includes 28 graduates from the Department of Information Studies, College of Social Sciences. He also confirmed that the Department of Information Studies is one of the largest departments in the College with its faculty members and graduates.

The Valedictorian speech was delivered by Bashayer Al-Rikaibani in which she stated that the specialization of information studies includes a number of fields related to the security, updating and marketing of the information and data that the major companies are racing to buy at various prices as a mean of knowledge economy.
