Under the patronage of H.H. the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah , KU celebrated its annual event honoring the graduates of excellence of the 47th batch for the Academic Year 2016/2017 held on Monday 5th of March 2018, at Abdullah Al-Jaber Al Sabah auditorium -Shuwaikh campus.
HH the Amir arrived to the venue where he was welcomed by the Minister of Education and Higher Education and Higher President of Kuwait University Prof. Hamed Al-Aazmi , Kuwait University President Professor Hussein Al-Ansari , KU Secretary General Dr. Muthana Al-Refaie, Vice Presidents and Secretary General Assistants.

The ceremony was attended by HH Crown Prince Shiekh Nawaf Al Ahmed Al Jaber Al-Sabah the National Assembly President Marzouq Al Ghanim, H.H the Prime Minister Sheikh Jaber Al Mubarak Al Sabah, Ministers, VIP’s and families of graduates.
Minister of Education and Higher Education and Higher President of Kuwait University Prof. Hamed Al-Aazmi started his speech with "Kuwait University is honored today with your Highness's presence at this graduation ceremony, to celebrate and congratulate our sons and daughters of their success in the scientific quest and we are confident that this batch of graduates will rise to the maximal degree of dedication to serve the highest purpose of the nation.

On his part, KU President Professor Hussein Al-Ansari expressed his utmost pleasure that H.H. Amir is present to share with the graduates of excellence and their families the joy of their achievement and their distinctiveness.
The graduate of honors speech was presented by Muneera Al-Khalid from College of Business Administration, who voiced her delight and honor thanking His Highness the Amir, she also expressed her pride to her professors who gave abundant knowledge throughout the academic years . Al-Khalid also expressed her pride to give back to Kuwait concluding her speech by thanking the students and their families and professors who have supported them and were part of this great achievement.
