KU President Professor Hussein Ahmed Al-Ansari, received a delegation from the University College Dublin - Republic of Ireland, headed by UCD President Prof. Andrew Dicks, and the accompanying Irish delegation, Dean of College of Engineering and Architecture Prof. David Fitzpatrick, Dr. Jeremy Simpson, Assistant Dean of College of Science. And Miss Ashling Ternan, Regional Director for the Middle East and North Africa.
The visit aimed to strengthen cooperation between the two universities especially in the fields of scientific, academic and research.
During the meeting, Professor. Al-Ansari reviewed the university's capabilities, its various faculties, specialized programs offered by these colleges, and scientific agreements with many international and American universities.
The visit also aimed to discuss ways of cooperation and joint work between the two sides and exchanging experiences in the various fields of scientific and educational research.
At the end of the visit, the delegation toured College of Engineering and Petroleum.
