KU signed an agreement to design, supervise and implement the infrastructure of the information and communication network in Sabah Al-Salem University. The agreement was signed between Kuwait University's construction program and PricewaterhouseCoopers Consulting Services.
The signing ceremony was held under the patronage of KU President Professor Hussein Al Ansari, and in the presence of Acting Secretary General of the University Dr. Adam Al-Mulla, Vice President for Planning Dr. Adel Al-Hussainan, Vice President for Academic Support Services Dr. Jassim Al-Kandari, , Vice President for Research Prof. Tahir Al-Sahhaf along with the Construction Program Director Dr. Qutaiba Razzouki, and representatives of PricewaterhouseCoopers Consulting Services.
Professor Hussein Al Ansari asserted that the signing of the agreement will contribute to the design of a digital work system for the administration, faculty members, students, manpower and everyone connected to the university city through the implementation and linking of a number of electronic systems such as administrative information systems, building management system, campus facilities management system, direct and general broadcasting system, electronic surveillance cameras, access and exit control system, parking management system, geographic information system, and campus-level intelligent transportation system.
