KU President Professor Hussein Al-Ansari, received Dr. Osama Al-Hawaj from the Department of Chemical Engineering, College of Engineering and Petroleum, who won two patents during the year 2016/2017, on his inventions:
Combined Pump And Energy Recovery Turbine
Drive System For Wind Turbine With Contra- Rotating Generator.
which was announced by the American Patent Office.
The meeting was attended by Dr. Tahir Al-Sahaf, Vice President for Research and Dr. Laila Nayef Maarouf.
On this occasion, Prof. Al-Ansari, congratulated Dr. Al-Hawaj on his achievement, expressing Kuwait University's pride in this accomplishment. KU President encouraged Dr. Al-Hawaj to continue to produce more distinguished scientific creations and register them as patents.
