KU president Professor Hussein Ahmed Al Ansari, received representatives of Abdul Hameed Shoman Foundation in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. The meeting was attended by Vice President for Scientific Affairs Prof. Isam Alawadhi and Vice President for Planning Prof. Adel Al-Husainan.
Professor Al-Ansari stated that Kuwait University is working to expand its scientific and institutional cooperation. The collaboration will be a joint tripartite cooperation between Kuwait University, Kuwait Foundation for the Advancement of Sciences and Abdul Hameed Shoman Foundation, in order to achieve executive steps , provide specialized courses and encourage scientific research.
Professor Al-Ansari indicated that more than ten researchers from KU have won awards from the Foundation in previous years which indicates the University's high status.
Professor Al-Ansari added that the cooperation is to include the exchange of scientific arbitrators, praising the level of Kuwaiti researchers who won many Arab and international awards , and urging them to participate in the awards of Abdul Hameed Shoman Foundation in the future.
