KU President Professor Hussein Al-Ansari received the Ambassador of the Republic of Switzerland to Kuwait Mr. Aldo de Luca, and his accompanying delegation from the Embassy on Wednesday, September 20, 2017, to discuss enhancing the prospects of cooperation with Kuwait university.
The meeting was attended by Vice-Rector for Planning Dr. Adel Al-Hussainan, Vice President for Planning for Institutional Development Dr. Muna Hussein along with Dr. Redha Behbehani from the World Center in College of Business Administration.
The delegation was briefed on ''Startup Kuwait ''project, a project that launched two years ago with the participation of educational institutions and has achieved a huge success in the State of Kuwait at the level of university students and the participating educational institutions.
Strengthening cooperation aspects were also discussed during the meeting by activating cooperation agreements between Kuwait University and Swiss universities.
The Swiss Ambassador expressed his willingness to deliver a lecture in a series of lectures on the Swiss system in the management of higher education institutions and how to achieve academic freedom in universities under the auspices of KU President.
