As part of the ongoing series of “Pulse of Culture” activities organized by the Public Authority for Youth in collaboration with the Student Union at the Deanship of Student Affairs, and with the participation of professional clubs across various faculties at Kuwait University, three educational lectures and workshops were held on Monday, April 21, 2025. These events targeted university students with the aim of enhancing their awareness and developing their skills in areas that align with both academic life and future careers.

The first event took place at the College of Education, featuring a workshop titled “Social Intelligence” presented by Dr. Haya Al-Kandari. The session focused on introducing students to the concept of social intelligence and its importance in building effective interpersonal relationships. The session explored the fundamentals and skills of planning, executing, and monitoring projects, emphasizing the importance of goal setting, task distribution, and efficient management of time and resources. It also highlighted key challenges facing project managers and introduced modern tools to overcome them.

Meanwhile, the College of Arts hosted an awareness session titled “Dangers of Social Media” presented by First Lieutenant Abdulaziz Al-Ajmi. The lecture addressed major threats associated with the use of social media platforms, including security breaches, cyber extortion, and misinformation. Practical tips were offered to safeguard digital privacy and promote safe and informed online behavior.

These activities fall under the vision of “Pulse of Culture,” which aims to support students academically, psychologically, and socially—empowering them to become active contributors to their communities. The initiative continues to offer purposeful programs that enrich students’ university experience and open new horizons for learning and development.
