As Part of Ongoing Collaboration and Coordination Kuwait University’s Security and Safety Department, in Cooperation with the Ministry of Interior, Organizes a Traffic Awareness Lecture Titled "The New Traffic Law"

Under the patronage of Acting Secretary-General of Kuwait University, Dr. Bader Ahmed Al-Jasser Al-Rajhi, the Security and Safety Department at Kuwait University, in cooperation with the Ministry of Interior, organized a traffic awareness lecture titled "The New Traffic Law", which is set to be implemented on April 22, 2025. The event took place in the lobby of the College of Education at the South Campus in Sabah Al-Salem University City. The lecture was held as part of the ongoing cooperation and coordination between the two institutions and in celebration of the 38th Unified GCC Traffic Week.


The event was attended by Acting Dean of Student Affairs, Prof. Jassem Al-Hamdan, Assistant Secretary-General for Facilities Management, Mr. Mohammed Al-Suleiman, Director of the Security and Safety Department at Kuwait University, Mr. Yousef Yaqoub Al-Khamees, Legal Brigadier and Chairman of the Unified GCC Traffic Week Committee, Mr. Mohammed Al-Sabhan, and Lieutenant Colonel Abdullah Bouhassan, Assistant Director of the Traffic Awareness Division at the General Department of Traffic and a member of the GCC Traffic Week Organizing Committee.


The lecture aimed to enhance traffic awareness among Kuwait University affiliates, emphasizing their safety and increasing awareness of security and safety regulations within the university campus to provide a secure educational environment.


During the lecture, a visual presentation was delivered by Major Musaed Al-Aslawi and Captain Eng. Mohammed Al-Thunayan Al-Ghanem. The presentation addressed key updates in the "New Traffic Law" and its anticipated impact on society. These efforts are part of a broader initiative to promote traffic awareness and improve road safety, ultimately contributing to the well-being of all road users.
