Faculty Members from the College of Life Sciences at Kuwait University Participates in the 3rd Kuwait Digital Transformation Conference

Dr. Dhari Al-Huwail, Dr. Zahraa Marafie and Dr. Sheikha Al-Khader, academic members of the Department of Information Sciences at the College of Life Sciences in Kuwait University, participated in the "3rd Kuwait Digital Transformation Conference" organized by Great Minds in cooperation with the Central Agency for Information Technology in the State of Kuwait. 
The two-day conference provided a platform to showcase pioneering digital initiatives, exchange of ideas and enhance the innovation environment, contributing to shaping the future of sustainable digital transformation in Kuwait. 
The conference brought together a group of thought leaders, government officials, technology experts and specialists to exchange experiences and review best technical practices. It also highlighted the rapid digital transformation journeys witnessed by Kuwait through the digitization of government services and the implementation of national development plans, which contributed to achieving tangible benefits for the public and private sectors. Discussions during the conference emphasized the importance of state institutions adopting modern technologies and innovation to support comprehensive digital transformation and improve the electronic quality of public services in vital sectors such as energy, healthcare, education, commerce, and others. 
It is worth noting that the participating academic staff members from Kuwait University played a prominent role in enriching the dialogue and providing specialized scientific insights in information systems and technology, with a focus on the ethical use of artificial intelligence technologies and the employment of digital solutions in education. This participation also comes within the framework of the university’s ongoing efforts to enhance its academic presence in specialized conferences and forums, and to support scientific research that keeps pace with rapid developments in the fields of technology and digitization.
