Acceptance of 253 non-Kuwaiti students who applied to Kuwait University for the first semester of the academic year 2024/2025

Acting Dean of Admissions and Registration at Kuwait University, Dr. Fadel Abbas Aziz, announced that 253 non-Kuwaiti students, high school graduates from various nationalities, have been accepted into the university’s colleges. These students are allowed to join the university under the specific categories designated for them.

Dr. Fadel Abbas Aziz also noted that the acceptance of non-Kuwaiti students was carried out according to their preference rankings, in line with the quotas allocated for each college as determined by the University Council. This process took into account the minimum acceptance thresholds for Kuwaiti students in various colleges. The admission policy stipulates that "for any non-Kuwaiti student to be admitted to any of the university's colleges or programs, their high school grade or equivalent must meet or exceed the minimum percentage required for Kuwaiti students accepted into the same program."

He added that text messages will be sent to the mobile phones of all accepted students, specifying the college to which they have been admitted. The acceptance confirmation will be conducted online through the university's electronic admission system website

  • Students will need to pay a fee of 10 Kuwaiti Dinars.

The Acting Dean of Admissions and Registration, Dr. Fadel Abbas Aziz, concluded his statement by congratulating the accepted students and their families on their admission to the university. He wished the students a successful academic journey.
