In the presence of Kuwait University’s Vice President for Planning, Prof. Asaad Al-Rashed, the Planning Sector at Kuwait University hosted a Chinese delegation on Thursday, October 24, 2024, at Sabah Al-Salem University City. The delegation was led by Her Excellency Mrs. Zhang Baojuan, Vice Chairwoman of the Standing Committee of the Jiangsu Provincial People's Congress. Also in attendance were Assistant Vice President for Strategic Planning, Prof. Walid Chakroun, and Assistant Vice President for Institutional Development, Dr. Bibi Al-Ajmi. The meeting aimed to strengthen bilateral relations between Kuwait University and prestigious international universities within the framework of student exchange and to discuss the latest academic updates and significant cultural and scientific developments.

At the outset, Prof. Asaad Al-Rashed, Vice President for Planning at Kuwait University, welcomed the Chinese delegation, emphasizing Kuwait University's commitment to expanding scientific and cultural cooperation with countries around the world. He highlighted the importance of student exchange and joint programs, as well as staying informed about the latest academic updates and significant research and scientific developments.

The representative of the Chinese delegation expressed her immense pleasure at visiting Kuwait, particularly Kuwait University. She expressed hopes for increased academic and knowledge-based cooperation between the two countries.
