the Third Edition of "Watheefti"

Under the patronage and presence of His Excellency Prof. Nader Al-Jalal, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research and Acting Minister of Education, and with the attendance of the Acting Secretary-General and official spokesperson for Kuwait University, Prof. Fayez Al-Dhafiri, Kuwait University participated in the third edition of "Watheefti" employment exhibition. The event took place at Arena 360 from October 17 to 19, 2024, reflecting Kuwait University's commitment to enhancing its presence.

The third edition of the "Watheefti" exhibition aimed to open direct communication channels between the public and private sectors and job seekers. Additionally, it sought to encourage graduates to engage in the labour market and establish direct connections with relevant organizations.

In this regard, Prof. Fayez Al-Dhafiri, Acting Secretary-General of the university, stated that Kuwait University's participation in the "Watheefti" exhibition stems from its commitment to serve the youth and the community to drive development. 

He emphasized that the university's role extends beyond education and research to preparing graduates who can establish themselves in both the private and public sectors. He noted that Kuwait University graduates possess a high level of knowledge and skills, along with the depth of understanding required by the global market. He affirmed that the university's participation in this event aligns with its mission to promote a culture of lifelong learning and professional growth, and to remain responsive to developments in all fields.
