Acting Dean of Admissions and Registration at Kuwait University, Dr. Fadel Abbas Aziz, announced the launch of the admission exhibition for high school graduates in continuation of the annual campaign titled "Your Future Starts Here". The event is organized by the Administration of Admission at the Deanship of Admission and Registration in collaboration with the Administration of Media and Public Relations. from Tuesday, It is set to start on Tuesday, July 2, 2024, and will continue until Saturday, July 6, 2024, from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM opposite Dean & Deluca restaurant in The Avenues Mall.
The exhibition was attended by the Acting President of Kuwait University, Prof. Nawaf Al-Mutairi, accompanied by the Acting Secretary-General, Prof. Fayez Al-Dhafiri, the Acting Vice President for Academic Affairs, Dr. Fahad Al-Fadhli, the Acting Dean of the College of Engineering and Petroleum, Prof. Khalid Al-Hazzaa, and the Assistant Secretary-General for Facilities Affairs, Mohammed Al-Sulaiman. The visit included an introductory tour of the university's academic programs, as well as an exchange of ideas on enhancing collaboration with the public and expanding the scope of educational services.
Dr. Fadel Abbas Aziz emphasized that the campaign aims to familiarize high school graduates with the admission and transfer requirements from outside Kuwait University, answer all their inquiries and explain the application process for Kuwait University in order to reach the largest possible number of students. The campaign also provides an opportunity for students interested in transferring from other universities and some colleges of the Public Authority for Applied Education and Training to obtain comprehensive information about admission to Kuwait University, with specialized staff available to answer all inquiries. Interested students can learn about specific admission and transfer requirements from outside Kuwait University by visiting Kuwait University's booth at The Avenues Mall.
Dr. Fadel Abbas Aziz also highlighted the presence of representatives from the Civil Service Commission during the exhibition to respond to students' inquiries regarding demands of the job market and the financial benefits associated with various specializations. This assists students in selecting their academic majors that align with the requirements of the job market.
