As part of Kuwait University's preparations to receive the first class joining the Department of Nursing, Acting Dean of the College of Allied Health Sciences Dr. Mohammad Shaaban Nadhar explained that nursing is one of the most important medical specialties and is considered one of the pillars of the medical sector, explaining that nursing is one of the rare specialties which the labor force greatly needs, both locally and globally.
Dr. Nadhar also added that due to the lack of academic outcomes in this specialty, the College of Allied Health Sciences decided to create and reopen the Department of Nursing at Kuwait University, noting that during the past four years and the continuous efforts in preparing and approving the curriculum, and subsequent to obtaining the required approvals, the first class joining the Department of Nursing will be received in the academic year 2024/2025.
