The Office of Assistant Dean for Student Affairs at the College of Architecture organized the first informative meeting for high school graduates and their parents, which was held on Wednesday, 26th of June, 2024 at 11 a.m. at the Adailiya campus, and in the presence of Acting Dean of the College of Architecture, Dr. Adel Al-Momen, Acting Assistant Dean for Student Affairs, Dr. Omar Khattab, and the Head of Architecture, Dr. Sheikha Al-Mubaraki, along with Acting Head of Visual and Interior Design Department, Dr. Sarah Al-Falah, Acting Assistant Head of Visual and Interior Design Department, Dr. Reem Dashti, among the academic and administrative staff at the college, and the representative of the Architectural Students Association, student Lulwa Al-Sejari.
The meeting aimed at introducing the graduates wishing to join the College of Architecture to the college programs and the main requirements for determining the preferred program which followed at the college, guiding them towards creating the appropriate plan for their academic career and answering all their inquiries, in addition to providing tips and guidance to facilitate students' academic endeavor at the university.
In this regard, Acting Dean of the College of Architecture, Dr. Adel Al-Momen welcomed the attendees, noting that Kuwait University is an excellent choice as it is qualified to meet students' ambitions with its insightful vision.
In turn, Acting Assistant Dean for Student Affairs, Dr. Omar Khattab, and the heads of departments briefly explained the college's programs, explaining that it is not just lectures but an integrated environment in which students interact with their colleagues, professors, and market outputs.
At the end of the meeting, students' questions and inquiries on various topics of concern were shared and answered, ensuring a clear vision of students' academic journey.
