The College of Dentistry at the Health Sciences Center at Kuwait University celebrated its graduates for the academic year 2023/2024, after external examiners finished evaluating the academic and clinical level of the seventh-year students, where they praised the college’s graduates.
The Acting Dean of the College of Dentistry, Dr. Rashid Al-Azmi said that the college annually hosts external examiners with the rank of professor from various international universities, in order to evaluate the academic and clinical level of the college’s students and their ability to practice the profession through interviews and practical tests, stressing that this annual hosting is evidence of the college’s confidence in its distinguished graduates, which have proven their worth and efficiency over time at local, regional and international levels.
He stated that the external examiners from the United States, the United Kingdom, Norway, Australia, and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, viewed the facilities, laboratories, and clinics of the College of Dentistry at Kuwait University before evaluating the students, where they expressed their admiration for their equipment and praised the academic and clinical levels of the graduate students.
Dr. Al-Azmi stated that the college organized a group of lectures for dentists in the State of Kuwait from the government and private sectors on the latest developments in the field of dentistry, which were presented by external arbitrators over the course of a full day, as an opportunity to exchange information and experiences.
At the end of his speech, Dr. Al-Azmi congratulated the graduate students and their families for their achievement at the end of a journey that lasted seven challenging years, during which they demonstrated their ability to overcome difficulties and challenges, expressing his pride in the level of the college students and offering his sincere thanks to the college family for their keenness and dedication.
