Students Fatima Nasser and Khalaf Al-Enezie from the Department of Engineering and Petroleum at the College of Engineering and Petroleum in Kuwait university participated in GOTECH 2024, under the supervision of the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE- Student Chapter). GOTECH 2024 was organized by the Dragon Oil Company in Dubai – United Arab Emirates from May 7th until May 9th, 2024. The students were selected by faculty members to represent Kuwait University in the program, which is considered a learning experience in terms of innovation and technology, in addition to attending specialized technology sessions.

The two students visited the SLB Innovation Factory in Abu Dhabi, where they gained valuable knowledge which will contribute to their professional future. They also participated in the technology sessions and their own presentations to reflect what they learned with passion and interest.

On the last day, the GOTECH x Rush-A-Way Challenge was held, and the two students won second place in this challenge
